Jajce Turizam

Only a few kilometers away from Jajce, in a beatiful natural surrounding, are Great and Small Pliva lakes placed. These lakes provide many opportunities for recreation, like fishing, kayaks, canoes, swimming, volleyball, biking and walking. These lakes have also very reach sport tradition, mayor happening was european and world championships in kayak and canoes which were held in sixties and seventies in last century.

Great pliva lake

Great Pliva lake lies at 424 m above sea level. The length is 3.3 km and maximum width of 660 m (average width of 343 m). Maximum depth of the lake is 33 m. The fish species that live in this lake are trout and grayling.
